It has a velcro stripe on the back to attach to the L module. The strap, like in all other Extra Medium modular bags, is detachable, and exchangeable. Pick a color. Outside fabrics include a velvety olive green front with a pocket, an upholstering floral motif, and a khaki mix. Inside fabric is a blue and white checkered cotton with white bias tape.
